Stitched

This month I’m hosting the April challenge at Sarah Hurley 365 blog, the theme that’s close to my heart – stitching.

The challenge is to apply stitching in your project, faux, hand or machine stitched, in any way you would like.

For my take, I stitched the three bokeh hearts in one of Sarah’s journaling piece to give it more emphasis. I also die cut a tag with stitching details at the background of my Doodle doll.  For her dress, I paper pieced them using Sarah’s Be Mine scrapbooking kit.

The design team did a great job in their challenge take too so be sure to head over to the challenge blog for more inspiration.

  1. Love the beautiful details your stitching adds to the design … the embossed background is a great touch too … so very glad you joined us at the Fusion Card Challenge.
