I’m feeling so much better now 🙂 cold and cough have finally said goodbye so I had the chance to play along in this week’s online challenges.
I recently received my Hero Arts die and stamp combo and I have to use it right away. Love them!
I’m entering this card to CAS(E) this sketch # 34. Also in CAS-UAL Fridays , CFC # 107 Hunger Games.
Here’s my take..
A masculine card for today. The same month’s challenge theme, Here Comes the Boys at The Crafting Café blog.
I used the digi image, Vintage Norton from Delicious Doodles. I love the image in itself so I did very minimal coloring with my Promarkers.
The background was embossed with chevron with minimal embellishment overall.
There’s still time to play at this month’s challenge at The Crafting Café blog so be sure check them out too.
I’m entering this card to Party Time Tuesday’s challenge, Anything Goes.
Hey there! It seems forever since I last blogged. This post should have been live last night but I was feeling so sick again and haven’t had the chance to finish the post. I came back almost a week now from a short break with family. It was short yet so sweet. Had the chance to play again with my little munchkins, KC, Abiel and Aidan. Miss them all already.
Sadly, I got sick the day after my return to Doha. This cough and cold is giving me a hard time. I should be in my normal self hopefully in the next days 🙂
Anyhow, it’s so good to be back. I’m sharing today Sketch-N-Scrap card sketch # 4. The flower stamp is from Hero Arts which I colored in with Promarkers with a combination of Inktense pencils. I love the vibrant color of both mediums. I then die cut the circle as well as the circle outline border, added a button and the some string. The background is partially embossed and I also embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment sampler.
You can visit the Sketch-N-Scrap blog for more inspirations 🙂
And now, the winner of the die cut challenge. So sorry that the announcement took too long. With the preparations before my leave and the sickness, I haven’t had the opportunity to really sit down on my computer. Thanks so much to all of you ladies that played along. Your works are all amazing and I hope that I’ll see you all again in the next challenge.
And the winner of the die-cut challenge is…..Elena Dlima woohooo!!
Congratulations Elena! Please drop me an email with your mailing address to: info at heartforhandmade dot com

Just popping in to share a card I made for Sketch-N-Scrap, Card sketch # 3.
I used random strips of pattern paper in the bottom card, added washi banner as well as button and another banner in the top.
A soft colored card for a young girl’s birthday 🙂
Drop by at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog to check the other DT card inspirations or better yet, join the challenge.
Just popping in to note that I’m currently in a short break with family back home.
I will be announcing the winner for my die cut challenge on my return.
