I did another card from Sarah Hurley scrapbooking kits. This time, I used the journaling card from the Documented365 with a selection of inspirational thoughts to live by. A great focal point in a card isn’t it? I love the compilation of all those simple things that we tend to forget with this busy lives we are in.
The pattern papers are from the Be Mine scrapbooking kit.
Note that a brand new challenge went live yesterday at Sarah Hurley 365 challenge blog with the theme Anything Goes. Better go and check the blog too for daily inspirations.
I’m entering this card to this week’s Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes challenge.
Also in Word Art Wednesday, Challenge # 130 Anything Goes.
And Through the Craft Room Door challenge for the week, Anything Goes.
A new challenge is up at the Sarah Hurley365 blog. This month’s theme is “Anything Goes“.
I used Sarah’s Be Mine scrapbooking kit for my card. I love the colors on this kit and I have used the same in some of my other card projects. For the heart, I cut it from the Snip N Stick embellishment sheet from the same kit. For my sentiment I used Sarah’s Block Alpha stamp that I embossed in white, while the typewriter stamp is from the Be Mine stamp set.
Love that typewriter too. We used to have one back in the days and I remember ours to be well used and well loved.
I used a sketch from Retrosketches # 113.
I’m entering this card to these challenges too:
Crafty Sentiments Designs, Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart, Anything Goes
Card sketches are just one of my favorite online challenges. Apparently, I can’t miss out Paper Smooches- April 27- May 3 Designer Draft challenge for the month.
I used the cute cat from Party Posse stamp set and combined the warm & fuzzy sentiment with the birthday wishes from the same set. I then fuzzy cut the cat and the small clouds for additional deco. The tag is also from Paper Smooches Tag stitched die. I just added pink twine to complete the look.
I stumbled upon a new challenge blog through Torico so I’m joining also this week, keeping in mind to use a furry friend in my main image. Trying out at Naughty or Nice Challenge # 4, Furry Friends.
also in Party Time Tuesdays # 170, Fussy cutting challenge.
Joining in again this week at Retrosketches # 112. I used the sketch inspiration to join also in CASology challenge: Week 93- Electric challenge.
The CASology cue card is just fit for the stamp I won from Ali Edwards before, so glad to use them again today. I stamped the lamp with Butterbar yellow ink from Simon Says stamp while I white embossed the main sentiment. I die cut lower zigzag paper with Paper Smooches notebook die.
