Newton’s Nook Designs June Release – Chicken Scratches

Wohoo! It’s Newton’s Nook Designs June Release!

I’m so glad to be joining the team this month as Guest Designer and so excited to share what I have come up with the first set of stamp for the month called  Chicken Scratches.

I have stamped the chicks on pattern paper and fussy cut them. I also stamped the grass and cut them to put in the background. I know some will not be keen on doing fussy cuts specially for small sized stamp pieces but I find it relaxing, weird I know 🙂

Part of the set is the hexagon pattern which I used in my card base. I had so much fun doing this little scene.

Would you like to win “Chicken Scratches”?

This set will be given away to Two lucky winners!

Here’s how to win:

  1. Love the chickens walking around the frame. the open section of the card with the sentiment and the grass is a good idea. the chicken wire embossing really sets off the background. Great card.

  2. Fabulous job on the card, Ria! I love the chicken wire background and the fun layering with your fussy cut pieces!
