The Hop to Stop

Popping in to share this card I did for The Damsel of Distressed, The Hop to Stop. The card creation is using purple, the color of National Domestic Violence Awareness month.

A great support from amazing manufacturers in the crafting industry is also taking part in the awareness.

In my card, I used the stamps from Mommy Lhey Designs Time of the Month stamps and colored them with promarkers. It’s a teeny tiny stamp but had fun coloring and fussy cutting them 🙂

One layer card

Happy Sunday!

I whipped a very quick easy clean and simple card using stamps and colored pencils for coloring. I used three different stamp sets to create this card, love when that happens 🙂

Playing with die cuts

One thing  I love about crafting is that it keeps my mind off some not-so-good feeling like I felt today. I’m thankful that I discovered this hobby as it keep my mind of the negativity some people sometimes bring.

So, on to the good side, I created a quick birthday card for Dad. His birthday will be coming up soon and I’m getting ready to mail this card early.

It’s a chance for me to use the die I bought before from Lil’ Inker Designs. They now have the first challenge called Monthly Meet Up Challenge and I’m glad to play along.

My card sketch inspiration is from Fusion Card Challenge and color inspiration Orange, Teal & Brown.

I made 4 layer die cuts of the word Dad for extra dimension, looks like chipboard in real life. Love that.

That’s it for now and happy weekend!

Dude! You are amazing

Hi there!

Just checking in quickly to share a card with a masculine theme. I used a die from Lil’ Inker Designs and stamps from Kelly Purkey. The papers are from a guy themed distressed papers from my stash that I haven’t used for a while. Great to make use of it this time.

Till then!

Hip to be square

I had the chance to play with some of my recently purchased craft supplies during the black Friday sale 🙂

I used Sweet Stamp Shop Too Hip stamp which has this cute Hippo 🙂 I colored him with promarker then fussy cut him and the hat. The frame is from a die company Lil’ Inker Designs that I’ve been eyeing for sometime now. Love those stitch details along the square edge.

Note that this card is also my take in Muse Card Challenge #97.

The muse for the challenge is from Therese Calvird and this is her card..

Miss You

Now this is my take for the challenge..

For the background stamping, I used Paper Smooches Needle Little Love stamp for the stitched swirl and also added some die cut star vellum for some texture.
