Today, I did a card using a sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge Sketch Challenge # 241.
I used a combination of stamps from Mommy Lhey for the cute octopus, sentiment from Technique Tuesday, and the splash of turquoise patch from Hero Arts.
The stash of ribbon is from my previous collection, love to use them again this time.
I used a very simple water coloring on the octopus background and in the image too. I added some sequins too and voila, clean and simple just the way I like it 🙂
I also used a color inspiration from WIW Color Challenge- Red,Turquoise, Black & White.
And here’s my take
I’m also entering this to Happy Little Stampers Case the Designer challenge. I used the octupus as my main image & used the circle too to focus on the image.
Polka Doodles Craft Challenge Week 26 – Add Ribbon or twine.
Trying to get back to my crafty groove by starting on this card sketch from Sketch N Scrap # 75.
On this card, I used my stamps from Ali Edwards and Paper Smooches. The patterned papers are previous ones I got from my stash.
Hopefully this will be start of finding my missing mojo 🙂

Today is a super quick one layer card with minimal coloring too.
The stamp images are from Sarah Hurley while the sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.
I first stamped the outline images, then colored them by stamping another solid stamp using Hero Arts inks.
I added the sentiment and using the corner chomper, I rounded the top corners.

I’m playing along this week in Sketch N Scrap Challenge # 40.
I used a non-holiday stamp, Red & Goldie clear stamp set from Avery Elle. I just colored the images with Christmas colors and also used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images. I think I’m beginning to be obsessed with Pretty Pink Posh sequins 🙂 I used clear sequins and some pink and red ones here. The stitched tag die I used here is also from Pretty Pink Posh.
The sentiments I used is from Ali Edwards and the patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn.

Joining in again this week at Retrosketches # 112. I used the sketch inspiration to join also in CASology challenge: Week 93- Electric challenge.
The CASology cue card is just fit for the stamp I won from Ali Edwards before, so glad to use them again today. I stamped the lamp with Butterbar yellow ink from Simon Says stamp while I white embossed the main sentiment. I die cut lower zigzag paper with Paper Smooches notebook die.

This is the last card sketch for the month and for the year at Sketch N Scrap.
Its Sketch # 16 created by the talented Lisa Hidy.
I had fun working on SNS card sketches and I will definitely miss working with the team as I end my term this month too. Thanks SNS especially to Lisa and Kelly.
On to the card, the Santa Claus stamp is from Paper Smooches while the sentiment is from Ali Edwards. The papers are from Basic Grey.
For added fun, I put a little white pompom in Santa’s hat and colored him with promarkers.
I’m entering this card in Paper Smooches Sparks challenge, Anything Goes.

This week I was able to send out some more Christmas cards overseas and was happy I was able to managed it within the first week of December. There are still some to be mailed in the coming week before I go on a short holiday break with family back in the Philippines so I hope all are received before the 25th.
For now, let me share the card I created for Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch # 15. The sketch is another great one from Kelly.
I used the pretty red ribbons from my stash while the patterned papers are from Basic Gray, Aspen Frost collection. The small banners are from Pink Paislee which I also have in a while from my stash and the stamps from Ali Edwards.
I’m entering this card in Divas by Design, Feeling Festive challenge.
Also in Through the Craftroom Door Challenge, Anything Goes
Card sketch #14 by Lisa is now up at the Sketch N Scrap blog.
I seldom do a masculine card so this one I think will be one of my favorite card creation 🙂 I just find this guy stamp from Paper Smooches so cute. I did a combination of paper piecing and coloring using promarkers.
For the papers, I use a paper combo from Sarah Hurley, Lawn Fawn, Echo Park, all from my stash. I added some washi tape and did partial embossing as well in the sides and the sentiment, some ribbon and buttons and I’m done.
Do check the rest of the card inspirations from Sketch N Scrap blog and enjoy.

It’s the 5th of the month, that means it’s the start of another card challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap blog. Here’s my take for Card sketch # 5.
I used mostly small pieces of designer papers from my stash and some embellishments from Pink Paisley. The stamp ‘You make me smile’ is from Ali Edwards.
I recently got a flowery background stamp from Hero Arts and I used them here for the background, it not really visible in my photo but it’s there 🙂
You can visit Sketch-N-Scrap blog and see what the my fellow DT has done for this sketch challenge.

This month’s second card sketch challenge at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog is now up. I’m sharing my take on the challenge using a stamp set from Technique Tuesday Get Crafty by Teri Anderson.
I love this stamp set, the sentiment, the buttons, spool and just everything on it. I just love the silver embossed sentiment and the fuzzy cuts.
