Finally! Oh my, it seems like forever when I shared my last card project.
Checking in quickly to share a card using Altenew Wild Hibiscus stamp set.
Stamping the background with gray ink while I colored the flowers with my promarkers, bright red it is 🙂
I’m entering this card to Simon Says Stamps, Wednesday Challenge- Anything Goes.
This floral is from Altenew stamp that I bought sometime ago. The coloring is very simple using promarkers, one of my favorite coloring medium. Oh and don’t forget the sequins that I also love.
I’m entering this card to CAS on Friday, Challenge # 111-Flowers.
I’m entering the same to Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes Challenge.
So glad that I had some time playing along in card challenges. I haven’t bought crafting supplies like newly released stamps and dies so I used whatever I have on hand.
For my background, I did some watercoloring using distress ink pads. I then white embossed the skyline stamp from Altenew and stamp another sentiment at the bottom from Mama Elephant. The little girl is also from the same stamp set. I colored her with prormarkers too, one of my favorite coloring medium.
I added a printed stripe vellum on the side also with few sequins.
I want to depict a scene of missing someone so I used the skyline to show a place and someone thinking about it 🙂 Cheesy right?
Anyhow, I used a card sketch from Sketch Saturday # 425.
Also entering this card to CAS-ual Fridays CFC #154, Time to Color challenge.
And Great Impressions, August Challenge- Anything Goes.
and Markerpop Challenge #101, Embossing.
I’m playing this week in Freshly Made Sketches # 200, A Celebration.
An amazing card inspirations in the gallery from different Design Teams of my favorite craft manufacturers, they are playing too!
I used Altenew’s Sketchy Cities America stamp set. I have them for sometime now but haven’t had the chance to use them in my projects. Glad to color them now.
I did two versions, one is by coloring the buildings with my desired colors and the other just a free watercolor play, just randomly putting watercolors one after the other.
Entering this card also in Sister Act Challenge # 120, Anything Goes.
