I’m sharing today a card using the new release digi stamp this month from Some Odd Girl. The release this month are retired stamps yet be enjoyed now as a digital stamp 🙂 Love that.
I colored Big Wishes Mae digital stamp with my favorite coloring medium promarkers. For the card base I embossed that with medium-sized dots and also added some patterned papers for some fun. I also added some gems for added texture.
You can visit the Some Odd Girl blog for more card inspirations.

It’s the 5th of the month and today starts the month’s challenge at Sarah Hurley 365 Challenge blog.
The challenge theme is ‘Celebration’. It’s open for interpretation, it can be a birthday celebration, anniversary, new baby, new home or just any that deserves to be celebrated.
For my project, I used Sarah Hurley‘s A Few of my Favorite Things, March kit. My take on this challenge is a birthday card. I specially love those tickets, a great item to represent a pass to celebrate. I love those papers too on this kit. You can color the b&w graphic images or leave it as it is.
The sentiment is from Sarah’s Sentiments stamp set.
My card sketch inspiration is from Poppy Sketch # 7, with a pop of pattern (polka dots).
See you then!

I was caught up on other things yesterday and was not able to post my Digi Monday project on a Monday 😦
Anyhow, this birthday cake is still part of Chi Chi Memories – Party Time digital stamping set release for September. I colored the image with promarkers and added some pink pearls as cake accents. I also used happy colored patterned papers to match my cake 🙂 Random gray pearls are also used here as additional accent.
A new digi stamp release is up at Chi Chi Memories every first of the month so I’ll be sharing a series of cute and fun images in the blog.
I’m entering this card to Seize the Birthday Cake challenge

I was recently accepted as Design Team member at Sarah Hurley Designs, see my badge in the right corner? happy me 🙂
So this week, I received digi kits that can be used for a number of projects. I love Sarah Hurley’s papers, embellishments and almost everything really. I did try my first digital scrapbook using the Say Cheese digital scrapbooking kit but I’ll share how it looks in the coming week or so.
I also did a card using one of the other kits but will extend the excitement again later.
For today’s project, I used Sarah Hurley’s Expedition digi kit. I designed the overall graphics in my computer, and printed them. I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment, and added the orange strings for texture.
I’m entering this card in Freshly Made Sketches # 82.
Also in CAS-ual Fridays Challenge # 99, Birthday Bash. And finally to Pretty Paper Studio April Challenge, Anything First.

Finally finished this birthday invitation card yesterday and today delivered. I used an image from Wizard of Oz, Dorothy.
I had fun working on this project 🙂
I did two previous cards before but looking on them after sometime, it seems that something is missing or sometime is wrong over all.
So, I decided to alter them and redo things on them to make it better?
Here are the before and after shots of the two cards I altered. So what do you think?
A new card challenge blog CAS(E) this Sketch (Challenge # 1) is up and I’m joining in for fun. The first challenge is to use the sketch inspiration below.mp
I used a Hero Arts stamp birthday candle while the birthday cake and sentiment from Papertrey Ink. I punched an inch circle to highlight the cake. I stamped and cut another cake piece and put dimensional behind it then placed it on top of the cake to give dimensions.
Anyhow, on the card.
