I miss you with MFT stamps

Hello!

Wow it been so long that I haven’t shared any project in this small space of mine 😦 I feel this page has been forgotten. I miss crafting and I miss sharing a card!

Anyhow, here’s my take on this week’s sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #294.

I used to have these colored images from My Favorite ThingsΒ and this is my chance to use them in a card. I also used some scrap papers on this project, love that when it happen πŸ™‚

This is the sketch inspiration for the week:

Thanks

Hello there! Wow! Feels like forever since I posted a card project. Life’s been so busy from the time I went to vacation in November and even after returning from the trip. Add to the fact that the holidays are busier and the first quarter of the year even crazier πŸ™‚

It’s good to get back on my crafty life slowly but will sure get there eventually.

So for this card I used my favorite washi tapes for the background. I also die cut the sentiment “Thanks” from Lawn Fawn while the stamp came from My Favorite Things.

There are a lot of craft supplies that I still need to use and hopefully I’ll be showcasing them individually soon.

I’m using a card sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch #196.

Embossing and patterned papers

Hello!

So I’m still into the Christmas vibe making some more holiday cards for friends. There’s a gathering on Thursday and I thought it would be nice to give something too while we’re celebrating an advance Christmas dinner.

For this card, I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 87.

I used some patterned papers and embossed the sentiment with white. The background texture is also made using an embossing folder. The cutesy images are from My Favorite Things & Pretty Pink Posh.

Let’s be merry

Hiya!

So trying to get into swing of things around the blog. This time trying to take a sketch challenge from Match the Sketch, No. 155.

I’ve been loving the washi tape on my christmas cards this year and still loving it. Apparently in today’s card is not an exception. I added a strip of washi and embossed the background for some added texture.

My main image is colored with promarkers and die cut the same. Though this card’s color is not really traditional holiday color, still love this one πŸ™‚

Stripes and watercolor

Happy Saturday!

For this card I used fabric tape to create the red stripes. I have a big bottle full of washi and different tapes and I thought I need to make use of them frequently because they deserved more love πŸ™‚ The blue strip is a washi that I crossed over the red tape.

I used stamped images from My Favorite Things and colored them with watercolor. The Christmas tree was colored with promarkers.

The holiday season is soon to come and I need to do my holiday cards this early.

My sentiment is die cut from My Favorite Things as well.

I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch # 84.

Merry Christmas – die cut

Hiya!

I was able to do some holiday cards today and this one is just one of them.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite ThingsΒ and did some die cutting with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #259.

fms-final-259-001

The stamps I used are actually a non-holiday stamp set but I did some holiday colors to make it a Christmas card πŸ™‚ The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is a die from My Favorite Things that I got free from my previous haul. I die cut them three times to make a thicker dimension.

Coloring is just simple using my promarkers and copics. For my strip behind the circle is a ribbon and a gold paper that I got from a scrap packaging box. Love to recycle things like this luscious papers from packages πŸ™‚

I added some flat gold sequins and glittery stickles I’m done!

Joy to the world

Happy Friday!

I made another holiday card using some new stamps from Avery Elle.

I love these cute woodland creatures and how cute they look singing for Christmas πŸ™‚ I colored the images with promarkers and fussy cut them since I don’t have their coordinating dies yet.

For my papers, I have some stash from Pink Paisley and used them up this time. It looks more vintage but its nice to incorporate them to new modern stamps once in a while. Β I also added some sequins to mimic the snow fall.

I Β used a card sketch from Sketch Saturday: Week # 433.

One cool cat

Hello!

I’m checking in quickly to share my take in Addicted to Stamps and more, Challenge #214 – Anything Goes Challenge.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things πŸ™‚ I stamped the cool cat in a patterned paper and fussy cut them since I don’t have the coordinating dies yet. I then added some googly eyes Β on my cat for some fun.

I also used some washi tapes on the sides and also added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for more texture.

My card sketch inspiration is from CAS(E) this Sketch #193.

I’m checking in quickly to share my take in Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch # 256 Challenge.

fms-final-256-001

I used stamps from My Favorite Things and the sentiment from Technique Tuesday.

I colored the kitties with promarker and fussy cut each of the colored images. I did a holiday hat from another stamp set Santa from My Favorite Things and adjust the size according to the kitties head. Some cutting and drawing to fit t the hats and I’m done πŸ™‚

Washi and coloring

Hello!

I’m playing with Paper Smooches stamps called Needle Little Love.

I love sewing and this stamp set just called my name when I saw it πŸ™‚ I colored the sewing machine and the heart with promarkers. To add more fun, I added a small piece of folded fabric and placed it closed to the needle part, like someone’s sewing πŸ™‚

I also added some washi tape on both sides of the stamped frame.

I used a sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 82.

I’m also entering this card to Addicted to CAS, Challenge # 97, Stitch.
