I made another holiday card using some new stamps from Avery Elle.
I love these cute woodland creatures and how cute they look singing for Christmas 🙂 I colored the images with promarkers and fussy cut them since I don’t have their coordinating dies yet.
For my papers, I have some stash from Pink Paisley and used them up this time. It looks more vintage but its nice to incorporate them to new modern stamps once in a while. I also added some sequins to mimic the snow fall.
I used a card sketch from Sketch Saturday: Week # 433.

And Scribbles Designs Challenge # 45,Woodland Creatures.
I’m checking in quickly to share my take in Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch # 256 Challenge.
I used stamps from My Favorite Things and the sentiment from Technique Tuesday.
I colored the kitties with promarker and fussy cut each of the colored images. I did a holiday hat from another stamp set Santa from My Favorite Things and adjust the size according to the kitties head. Some cutting and drawing to fit t the hats and I’m done 🙂

I also added a crochet ribbon on top of the banner for some interest

Continuing my card making projects this week using Paper Smooches stamps.
I stamped the critters and fussy cut them since I don’t have the coordinating dies. I added some googly eyes for some fun 🙂 I also added some sequins for some glitz.
and a closer look
I used a card sketch from Match the Sketch # 099.

Only few days before Christmas and I’m sharing these quick DIY tags that anyone can whip up in no time.
Go check the details at Sarah Hurley365 blog for more details.
Another quick post. There’s the ”Deck the hall” challenge at Hero Arts blog and its only few hours left for the deadline.
I really wanted to take part so I did these two snowmen quickly using Hero Arts Frosty Wishes and its coordinating Frame cuts die Snowman.
I stamped the main details of the snowman and added some scrap fabric for the scarf and hat. A small piece of orange felt for the nose. I also cut one more piece of felt for the back to cover the twine that I put on top. With that twine, I can hang them now in the Christmas tree.
For more fun, I added googly eyes instead of just the plain dot.
That’s it! Now I have a snowman ornament that I can add in my tree.
It’s so quiet out here but no worries, I’m still here! Its been very busy lately with everyday life and my time to craft were cut back a little to attend more at work.
Anyhow, I’m sharing today a DIY project just in time for the holidays to keep knick knacks and gifts to kids or adults alike. I’m also sharing this are SarahHurley365 blog as part of the Documented December posts.
I used an inexpensive mini brown bags that I’m sure are easily available in your local area.
I used Sarah‘s mini journaling cards, some were stamped with additional elements to add more dimension/ texture.
On these bags, you can put a selection of small candies and chocolates or if you’re giving away a gift for a crafty friend, you can also put a small stamp & mini stamp pad as treats.
Here are some closer look to each of the treat holders..
This will be great for hot Choco treats..love those stamps too 🙂
Until next time!
Hello there everyone!
Today, I’m sharing a Christmas card using Hero Arts Holiday Houses digi kit.
I love coloring lately with markers and what a better way to color using these beautiful winter homes from the kit.
I selected the houses and re-size some to give an illusion of depth when I arrange them into a card. It will not show very clear in the photos but I also added some glitter using the Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. Its looks lovely in real life 🙂
I also added some white dots into the houses to give a feel of snow falling into the homes. There are some gems too laid from top going down to mimic a snow fall 🙂 The pattern paper I used in the background is actually one of the digi papers in the kit.
The sentiment I used is also from the same digi kit 🙂 I also die cut the bottom page of the page using a scallop die.
And here’s my completed card.

This is the last card sketch for the month and for the year at Sketch N Scrap.
Its Sketch # 16 created by the talented Lisa Hidy.
I had fun working on SNS card sketches and I will definitely miss working with the team as I end my term this month too. Thanks SNS especially to Lisa and Kelly.
On to the card, the Santa Claus stamp is from Paper Smooches while the sentiment is from Ali Edwards. The papers are from Basic Grey.
For added fun, I put a little white pompom in Santa’s hat and colored him with promarkers.
I’m entering this card in Paper Smooches Sparks challenge, Anything Goes.

Whoa! The past week has been hectic. I’ll be traveling on Tuesday for a short holiday break with family back home in the Philippines and everyday seems not enough to get all things done before the trip. Already excited to be with the little munchkins 🙂
The blog may be on a short break too but I will soon get back to my weekly post once the holidays are over.
For now, I’m sharing another holiday card using decorative tape or also known as washi tape. This card seems fit for a masculine card too isn’t it?
I used two washi designs and alternately use them to create horizontal strips. I embossed the sentiment and the Christmas tree using white embossing powder. The stars however were stamped directly in the card base.
This project is being shared too in the Pretty Paper Studio blog. There’s still time to play in the monthly challenge so drop by at the PPS blog for more inspiration or better yet, join in for a chance to win.
I’m entering this card in the following challenges
Handmade Harbour, Midweek Papercraft Party with the Merry Christmas theme.
Sweet Stampin’, Last Minute Christmas theme.

The month’s challenge at Sarah Hurley challenge blog has begun. This month’s challenge is to Create your own background.
First up, I used the snowflakes from Sarah’s Christmas Characters stamp set and stamped a white ink over kraft to create my background. Santa and the Christmas sentiment are also from the same stamp set. To add some texture, I put a white pompom in Santa’s hat & sequins. I also used the banner and cane stamp from the Christmas Mail stamp set while the Merry sentiment is from Outline Alpha stamps. Noticed the silver lines in the green background paper and above the gray paper? I also embossed them with silver embossing.
I’m entering this card in Simon Says Stamps, Make your own background challenge.
