Die cutting and Embossing

Hello!

Just checking in quickly to share my take in this week’s (CAS)E this Sketch #189.

I used a word die cut ‘Hugs’ from Simon Says Stamp and I embossed the yellow card base with this medallion design embossing folder. Its so easy and I finish the card while I’m on the phone with a friend. Multi- tasking you know 🙂

Clean and simple card

Just  checking in quickly to share a clean and simple card using Paper Smooches Afresco stamp set.

I stamped the barbeque skewers and the ants along with the salt shaker and ketchup, coloring them all using promarkers. I also die cut them using their coordinating dies that I later layered a bit. Some additional pepper, mushrooms and shrimp were also scattered around the ants for some fun.

I added the oval shape using a die, at closer look you can see the detail stitch from the die I used to emboss the shape. I then added a stitched line along the ovals for some details.

I’m entering this card to Paper Smooches July Challenge-Summer. In my home country, summer is the time for barbeque and grilling under the sun 🙂 so this is my take on this month’s challenge.

Happy Friday!

Joining in again this week at Retrosketches # 112. I used the sketch inspiration to join also in CASology challenge: Week 93- Electric challenge.

The CASology cue card is just fit for the  stamp I won from Ali Edwards before, so glad to use them again today. I stamped the lamp with Butterbar yellow  ink from Simon Says stamp while I white embossed the main sentiment. I die cut lower zigzag paper with Paper Smooches notebook die.

I adore you

I’ve been wanting to have a typewriter stamp in the past so when Sarah Hurley has release this new Be Mine stamp set I ordered them right away from her.

I colored them with promarker then fuzzy cut them. I used the card sketch in today’s project from Seize the Sketch # 16.

I created the sentiment from Sarah Hurley’s Outline Alpha stamp set. All the papers I used are all from Sarah’s  Be Mine scrapbooking kit and Journaling card.

I fuzzy cut the heart from the Be Mine kit as well. I added a foam square to pop them in the page.

So Sweet

This is a card I also made for Pretty Paper Studio.  I wanted to achieve a chalkboard look in the project so I used a black patterned paper and white ink from Hero Arts.

I used an embossing folder with clear embossing  powder and distress glitter mix together. The arrow chipboard is also coated with glitter for some sparkle. You can find the rest of the post in Pretty Paper Studio’s blog.

Its been awhile that I haven’t joined in card challenges so  I’m entering this one this time in Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes challenge.
