I miss you with MFT stamps

Hello!

Wow it been so long that I haven’t shared any project in this small space of mine 😦 I feel this page has been forgotten. I miss crafting and I miss sharing a card!

Anyhow, here’s my take on this week’s sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #294.

I used to have these colored images from My Favorite Things and this is my chance to use them in a card. I also used some scrap papers on this project, love that when it happen 🙂

Merry Christmas – die cut

Hiya!

I was able to do some holiday cards today and this one is just one of them.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things and did some die cutting with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #259.

The stamps I used are actually a non-holiday stamp set but I did some holiday colors to make it a Christmas card 🙂 The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is a die from My Favorite Things that I got free from my previous haul. I die cut them three times to make a thicker dimension.

Coloring is just simple using my promarkers and copics. For my strip behind the circle is a ribbon and a gold paper that I got from a scrap packaging box. Love to recycle things like this luscious papers from packages 🙂

I added some flat gold sequins and glittery stickles I’m done!

Watercolor play

I’m playing this week in Freshly Made Sketches # 200, A Celebration.

An amazing card inspirations in the gallery from different Design Teams of my favorite craft manufacturers, they are playing too!

I used Altenew’s Sketchy Cities America stamp set. I have them for sometime now but haven’t had the chance to use them in my projects. Glad to color them now.

I did two versions, one is by coloring the buildings with my desired colors and the other just a free watercolor play, just randomly putting watercolors one after the other.

Have a Ball – Shaker card

This week I’m taking part in Paper Smooches, Anything Goes Challenge, July 19-26 (wk3).

I used the Crystal Clear stamp set and die cut the bottle using the Crystal Clear 2 dies. The purple beads are very inexpensive ones that I bought before in our local craft store.

Cupcake Inspiration

I was doing some alcohol marker coloring over the weekend using these cupcake stamps from Hero Arts.

Happy to use them finally in a birthday card. I added some sequins and twine for my embellishments.

I’m entering this card to Cupcake Inspiration’s Confetti Inspiration Challenge for our 300th Challenge Celebration.

I think this challenge blog will be one of my fave challenge blogs 🙂

Stamping and Inking

Finally tried resist inking using distress inks. I have a limited collection of distress inks but happy to use them from time to time. I should be exploring this medium more.

For today, I used Sarah Hurley‘s stamp set of floral including the bird.  I white embossed the flowers and start to build coloring from green, red, orange to yellow. I also silver embossed the bird in the vellum then added some silver pearls. The sentiment is from Sarah’s Sentiment stamp set.

Birthday card

I had the chance to sit today in my craft table so I did a card to join to in some card challenges.

I used Paper Smooches  Zoo Crew stamp set for my main image and I cut the giraffe using the coordinating die. For the birthday sentiment, I used Newton’s Nook birthday bash stamp set. I love the size of this particular birthday stamp sentiment as this fits perfectly with Simon Says Stamps banner die.

Cheese!

A quick post to show my take in Freshly Made Sketches # 127. I haven’t played around this sketch challenge for a while so its nice to take part this week.

I used the papers from Sarah Hurley’s 8×8 paper and my favorite stamps also from Sarah Hurley. Love this set 🙂  I colored the cameras with promarkers and punched some hearts to add some colors.

Bookworm

A super quick post to share my take in this week’s card challenge for two of my favorite challenge sites.

Since I had the chance to sit down for a while, I did a card for Freshly Made Sketches # 103 challenge.

This time a hybrid card using Sarah Hurley, Book Worm  digital scrapbooking kit. I specially love the papers on this collection, just fit for a back to school theme card.

I’m also entering this card to CAS-ual Friday Back to school challenge, CFC 114.

 

Hybrid card

I was recently accepted as Design Team member at Sarah Hurley Designs, see my badge in the right corner? happy me 🙂

So this week, I received digi kits that can be used for a number of projects. I love Sarah Hurley’s papers, embellishments and almost everything really.  I did try my first digital scrapbook using the Say Cheese digital scrapbooking kit but I’ll share how it looks in the coming week or so.

I also did a card using one of the other kits but will extend the excitement again later.

For today’s project, I used Sarah Hurley’s Expedition digi kit. I designed the overall graphics in my computer, and printed them. I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment, and added the orange strings for texture.
