Sweet thanks

Hello there!

Just stopping by to share a card using a sketch from Reverse Confetti, April Sketch challenge.

I die cut the donuts using the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts and sentiment from Donut You Know.

I always love using card sketch as it gives me a base on how to create the card, its fun to play with too, wondering how you will be able to do your take on the sketch.

I added hearts instead of the circles, just to add some extra fun

Happy Monday!

Just popping in quickly to share this clean and simple one layer card using stamps that were in my stash for so long. I have this Close to my Heart stamp set, more of a valentine themed stamps waiting for me to play with it. Now is the time as Valentine’s will be just around the corner.

I just changed the sentiment differently as I intend to send this to someone special.

My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch N Scrap, card sketch # 65.

I’m entering this card Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Create with Critters. I used the owl for my critter 🙂

My favorite things

This month’s challenge at Sarah Hurley 365 blog is now live with the theme: My Favorite Things.

Aside from card making, I also love sewing and it always makes me happy whenever I can incorporate sewing materials or sewing into my card project.

My favorite things are placed altogether in my card today, the blue and pink colors, felt flowers, die cutting and stamped coloring 🙂 Not a lot isn’t it?

I used a combination of paper kits from Sarah Hurley including:  Be Mine kit, April kit-Happy, January kit-Loving Life, July kit-All at Sea and February kit add-on – St Marks. The sentiment is from Sarah’s Sentiment stamp set.

Cheese!

A quick post to show my take in Freshly Made Sketches # 127. I haven’t played around this sketch challenge for a while so its nice to take part this week.

I used the papers from Sarah Hurley’s 8×8 paper and my favorite stamps also from Sarah Hurley. Love this set 🙂  I colored the cameras with promarkers and punched some hearts to add some colors.

Happy weekend!

Happy Day

Happy Monday!

It’s my first share of project for Pretty Paper Studio 🙂 The project comes as my take  in this month’s challenge with the theme Glitter.

I had fun working on the colors and papers on this card. I used elements mostly from My Mind’s Eye  and papers from Amy Tangerine. One good thing of working in paper packs is that all of them works together when combined. I always love the color blue and cameras so this background papers is just perfect for me.

I did a random mix of shapes and textures, buttons, die cuts and a heart for visual interest. Then I used the pink glitter to add some additional sparkle to a happy day. See the additional strip of sentiment? It came from the small strip of paper the comes along in the perforation line of the paper. Even those small decorative piece counts 🙂

blog elements

For my stamped sentiment, I did some hand stitching  to add some interest to a plain stamped shape.

Put your {heart} into it, CAS-ual Fridays challenge for the week, CFC 74, create a clean and simple card with a heart.

I diecut 3 hearts, 2 in full heart shapes then the 3rd heart was diecut once more by smaller heart to create a window. The 3 hearts were placed on top of each other to create a 3D heart as the main focal point. What would be the best sentiment to use than I Love You.

I added a running lace at the bottom to give some texture. Clean and simple.

And on to the card.
