Coloring & ribbons

Hello!

I got some time to make another card using a sketch from Viva La Verve June Sketch 2.

I used stamps from Paper Smooches. For the furry cat, I colored her with promarker with a light copic marker for her cheeks ūüôā

I haven’t use much of my ribbon stash so this challenge is a great way to use my cute ribbons isn’t it?

Stamped packaging

Hello every one!

Have you sometimes wondered how to get plain packaging pouch to look more encouraging than a plain white paper to put things in?

I’m sharing a packaging project at a2z¬†Scrapbooking blog¬†today addressing this thought. Here’s a sneak peek of what I did so visit the¬†a2z¬†Scrapbooking blog¬†to see¬†how I¬†packaged a card and some sweets. It’s a great way to mass produce too to use in party favors. Happy Father’s day

June is not only the month for weddings but for the Dads too.

For today’s card, I did a Father’s day card for my Dad. I finally used the stamp set from Kelly Purkey and the card base from Hero Arts. I white embossed the sentiment and added a strip of ribbons for some texture. I also did some die cutting for the main frame.

Jingle all the way

This week I was able to send out some more Christmas cards overseas and was happy I was able to managed it within the first week of December.  There are still some to be mailed in the coming week before I go on a short holiday break with family back in the Philippines so I hope all are received before the 25th.

For now, let me share the card I created for Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch # 15. The sketch is another great one from Kelly.

I used the pretty red ribbons from my stash while the patterned papers are from Basic Gray, Aspen Frost collection. The small banners are from Pink Paislee which I also have in a while from my stash and the stamps from Ali Edwards.

You are awesome

Card sketch #14 by Lisa is now up at the Sketch N Scrap blog.

I seldom do a masculine card so this one I think will be¬†one of my favorite card creation ūüôā I just find this guy stamp from Paper Smooches¬†so cute. I did a combination of paper piecing and coloring using promarkers.

For the papers, I use a¬†paper combo from Sarah Hurley, Lawn Fawn, Echo Park, all from my stash.¬†I added some washi tape and did partial embossing as well in the sides and¬†the sentiment, some ribbon and buttons and I’m done.

Do check the rest of the card  inspirations from Sketch N Scrap blog and enjoy.

Digi Monday: Cupcake? Tea?

It’s my second ‘Digi Monday‘¬†project and I’m so glad to share my take in this week’s¬†continuation of Chi Chi Memories¬†digi that I also used last week, the¬†Party Stamp – Digital Stamp Set.

I colored Candace with promarkers and fuzzy cut. I popped her in a die cut tag with some background stamping.

I have colorful roll of ribbons in my stash, most of which have been used in a project or two. I added these ribbons in diagonal strips for a fun background color as well. The Cupcake & Tea were printed and popped also with a die cut flower shaped for some added texture.
