Coloring with Altenew stamps

Hello!

Finally! Oh my, it seems like forever when I shared my last card project.

Checking in quickly to share a card using Altenew Wild Hibiscus stamp set.

Stamping the background with gray ink while I colored the flowers with my promarkers, bright red it is 🙂

Coloring with distress markers

Hello!

For this card, I used some cute house stamps from Paper Smooches. I colored them with distress markers and added some water to get this watercolor wash. I then added some frosted lace stickles to mimic some snowy scene for the holidays.

I placed the houses in a blue die cut tag with red ribbon strips behind. My sentiment is from Ali Edwards, always love the fonts on this stamp set.

I also added some sequins for more holiday sparkles.

I used a card sketch from The Paper Players: PP318.

Merry Christmas – die cut

Hiya!

I was able to do some holiday cards today and this one is just one of them.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things and did some die cutting with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #259.

fms-final-259-001

The stamps I used are actually a non-holiday stamp set but I did some holiday colors to make it a Christmas card 🙂 The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is a die from My Favorite Things that I got free from my previous haul. I die cut them three times to make a thicker dimension.

Coloring is just simple using my promarkers and copics. For my strip behind the circle is a ribbon and a gold paper that I got from a scrap packaging box. Love to recycle things like this luscious papers from packages 🙂

I added some flat gold sequins and glittery stickles I’m done!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #376 Color Challenge

Hiya!

If you’re coming from the Cupcake Inspirations blog challenge, Welcome 🙂

I’m so excited being a Surprise Sweetie  for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 376. I’m happy to join you all and share my take in this week’s color challenge.

First up, I colored my image from Newton’s Nook Birthday Bash stamp set with distress ink pad. I recently purchased mini distress ink as I find them great for watercoloring.

I fussy cut the colored image after filling in the colors and also added a very light purple background color in the circle die cut.

For my card base, I added some texture by embossing some circles using my circle die cuts. I also put some sequins to complement the colors I used in the stamped image.

Hello

It seems like the weather is changing already from summer to a more friendlier temperature. I can tell as its also around this time that I get a cold 😦 Not really a cool thing but that will not keep me do another card today.

I used a card sketch from Pals Paper Arts, Sketch # 318.

My main image, farmer is from Paper Smooches. I colored him with promarker following some autumn colors. I used another stamp set to stamp the autumn leaves in the bigger panel and Thankful sentiment just to complement the season.

I also stamped the card base background with woodgrain background stamp from Hero Arts.

Two ink colors & sequins

Hello!

Today I have the chance to play with a stamp set  from Hero Arts stamp set that I have for so long now. I was looking at my stamp box and remember that I still haven’t used these flourish stamp ever. Sometimes all you have to do is look into your supplies and use whatever you have before buying new ones right? 🙂

I used a very minimal supplies on this card. Two ink colors, some sequins, a diecut Hello from Mama Elephant and rectangular stitched diecut and I’m done.

My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch Saturday, Sketch #429.

Coloring with alcohol markers

Hello!

Today’s project uses this cute fairy stamps from The Greeting Farm. I recently received this set from my haul and need to color them quickly to make it to The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 373. I find the colors in the photo image perfect for these fairies to use, soft yet some darker reds underneath.

I used my promarker and copic markers to color the images. These are alcohol based markers that are great to blend. I have a limited markers of this type but they serve me well in coloring small images like these stamps.

The fairies have coordinating dies but I don’t have them so I fussy cut them including the mushrooms 🙂 need to do what I need to do to make them look good when I put dimensional tape to pop them up.

I used a card sketch inspiration from (CAS)E this sketch # 188. I used some fabric ribbons in the sides and also used my new wonky rectangular diecut to the white panel.  Love how the texture stitch add interest in a plain paper.

Simple Coloring with Inktense Pencils

Hello!

I recently purchased some new stamps online and finally had the chance to use this Trouble in a Tutu stamp set from Clearly Besotted 🙂 They’re so cute right? The  set has coordinating dies but I was not able to buy those yet but will definitely get them in my next haul.

I colored the images with Inktense pencils, using only pink and black. I used a very light stroke in coloring the areas that are supposed to be dark and let the highlights be in white. This card makes me smile really.

For my sentiment I white embossed them and added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for some more fun.

I used a card sketch inspiration from CAS(E) this Sketch #187.

I also used a die from Mama Elephant to emboss the borders of the card base to add details. Just enough to put some texture on a plain card base.
