I’m quickly checking in to share a project I did using Gardening Mae digital stamp from Some Odd Girl.
I love coloring her and adding more light greens as my color of choice for the whole card. I also added some sequins to represent some flowers in a way 🙂 As always, marker will be my coloring medium of choice too.
Note that Kit and Clowder is running a 2-week coloring contest beginning today April 8 and this digital stamp, Gardening Mae will be on special offer for $1.00. How cool is that! Just use the code KCSOG over here
And more info about the challenge can be found here
So here is my take in the challenge

Hello there! Wow! Feels like forever since I posted a card project. Life’s been so busy from the time I went to vacation in November and even after returning from the trip. Add to the fact that the holidays are busier and the first quarter of the year even crazier 🙂
It’s good to get back on my crafty life slowly but will sure get there eventually.
So for this card I used my favorite washi tapes for the background. I also die cut the sentiment “Thanks” from Lawn Fawn while the stamp came from My Favorite Things.
There are a lot of craft supplies that I still need to use and hopefully I’ll be showcasing them individually soon.
I’m using a card sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch #196.
Also entering this card to Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes Challenge.
And Tuesday Throwdown, TT327 Anything Goes Challenge.

So trying to get into swing of things around the blog. This time trying to take a sketch challenge from Match the Sketch, No. 155.
I’ve been loving the washi tape on my christmas cards this year and still loving it. Apparently in today’s card is not an exception. I added a strip of washi and embossed the background for some added texture.
My main image is colored with promarkers and die cut the same. Though this card’s color is not really traditional holiday color, still love this one 🙂
I’m playing with Paper Smooches stamps called Needle Little Love.
I love sewing and this stamp set just called my name when I saw it 🙂 I colored the sewing machine and the heart with promarkers. To add more fun, I added a small piece of folded fabric and placed it closed to the needle part, like someone’s sewing 🙂
I also added some washi tape on both sides of the stamped frame.
I used a sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 82.
I’m also entering this card to Addicted to CAS, Challenge # 97, Stitch.
and Paper Smooches, September Challenge, Anything Goes.

I had a quick copic coloring using this hog stamp from My Favorite Things. I saw several cards online with this stamp set and made sure that my next craft order will have this stamp too.
I used only two pink color of copic markers, the one I got is from the basic skin color set and I used the lightest flesh color with pink. I added some vellum die cut for the clouds and some coordinating sequins from Neat & Tangled for some texture.
Happy to use some washi tape on this card too.
My card sketch inspiration is from My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge, Sketch # 296.
I’m also entering this card to Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge # 347, Clean and Simple.

I did some more watercoloring this time using My Favorite Things stamps. I cut a rectangular piece of watercolor paper and did some stamping using the fence then masked it to stamped the wooden base. I then stamped the pot of flowers then watercolor them all.
I had a gnome that I already colored in the past and used it this time to complete my little garden scene.
I then added some flower gems from Hero Arts and a purple washi for my side banner.
My card sketch inspiration is from My Favorite Things, Wednesday Sketch Challenge #295.
I’m also entering this card to Happy Little Stampers August CAS challenge, Masking.

Just checking in quickly to share my take in Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 371, Shine Bright.
I used a diamond diecut from Ellen Hutson to represent the bright theme. I also used a perfume packaging that has this cool shiny finish to diecut the diamond. I think that both reflects the theme eh? I also added a vellum behind the diecut to show some see-through feel in its sparkle 🙂
For my cupcake I colored it using watercolor. Then I added a striped vellum on the sides and some sequins for some more shine & brightness.
My card sketch inspiration is from CAS on Sunday: Challenge # 89.

I have been playing with simple watercoloring for this stamped imaged from Some Odd Girl.
I have a very small collection of distress ink pads and I used them to do the watercoloring. I’m excited though to get more of those inks soon in the mail 🙂 There was a recent sale online and got the chance to grab additional ink pads for coloring.
For this card, I used the card sketch from Sketch N Scrap Sketch # 79.
For my background, I embossed the lighter cardstock with circle design, it also mimics the pattern in the washi tape I used in the strip which was coincidental. Love that when it happens.
I also stamped a tiny part of the kraft card base with doily design, very small part shows in the left but the design almost looks like the same as the flower pattern in the washi tape.
I’m also entering this card to Addicted to Stamps and more, Challenge #206, Anything Goes.
Also in Through the Purple Haze, Challenge# 106 Anything Goes.
I still have a lot of crafty supplies that I haven’t had the chance to play with so this time is a good change to use some of them. I used Paper Smooches Fancy Frames Icons dies for my main shapes.
For the stamped flowers, I used the small icons from Paper Smooches Recipe for Success stamp set. I love using tiny stamps to create patterns such as these 🙂 For some texture, I added twine from Lawn Fawn and a strip of washi tape.
I’m entering this card in this week’s Paper Smooches challenge, Anything Goes, July 5-11 (Week 1).
My color inspiration is from Colour Me challenge # 79.
My sketch inspiration if from Freshly Made Sketches # 194.
And my take in the challenge..

I was on vacation for about three weeks and got occupied with so many other things before that so I was missing in action for quite some time.
Anyway, today I’m sharing this ombre stamped butterflies at Sarah Hurley365 blog. You can visit me there too and say hello 🙂
I used three butterfly types and ombre inks for stamping.
