You’re Purr-fect

I had the chance to use Paper Smooches stamp on today’s card. I used Kraft cardstock as card base. Then I stamp the little cute cat into a white and gray patterned paper and use the same sentiment in the stamp set. I put a wiggly eye for the eyes, isn’t it cute :)Cats are playful so I put an additional twine that will serve as the ball of yarn to play with. I should have kept a longer twine to twist it a little bit more but overall I’m happy with the output.I embossed the right side of the kraft carstock to give a little texture.

I used the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch  # 3 challenge. I’m sending this off too to CAS-ual Fridays Kraft on challenge.

Three card set

I did these 3 set card for Pretty Paper Studio (PPS) October Challenge. PPS is an online papercrafting store in Dubai, UAE. I knew about them through CAS-ual Fridays blog when they sponsored one of their weekly challenge. As I checked PPS blog, I knew that they too are running a monthly card challenge, so here I am posting what I did.

They recently sell a grab bag that randomly include embellishments, papers, cardstock etc. I challenge myself to use most if the supplies I got from the bag I bought from them. I used the same papers on the three cards. Stamps were all for a Birthday,  got them from Papertrey Ink and Hero Arts.

I stamped the three cards background and did one embossing (the 3rd card). Love the effect of that silver embossed card. I can use the same for a holiday card for sure.

Another card sketch

I bumped into this card sketch challenge, I spy sketches today and decided to give my take to the challenge with another rosette flower. I’m addicted to doing this flower lately 🙂

And quickly doing this post to make it to the deadline today. Here’s my take to ISSC38 sketch

Santa by Paper Smooches

Finally, my Paper Smooches stamp Santa has been used on this card. First off, I stamped the card base with musical notes background stamp.

Diecut the green background for Santa,  colored him with colored pencils and added washi stamp in the overall layout. The two diagonal paper strips were from Aspen Frost collection pack by Basic Grey. I used a sketch from Skipping Stones Design, Sketch Challenge # 151.

Holiday card

Got to start my holiday cards this early. Papertreyink is running its monthly blog hop to showcase their customers creations, including me 🙂

I find it fun to take part in online activities. I used a stamp from Papertrey Ink, some of their inks too, cardstock and border dies.

This month’s theme is to use non-traditional holiday colors and I chose the one here below as the color inspiration.

I stamped the background with Kaisercraft Musical Notes using Ranger’s embossing ink (without embossing them) but as I looked at the card the next day to take photo, the musical notes were not visible anymore. Not sure if that’s the same case if I used Versamark embossing ink.

I used a sketch from Retrosketches # 34

Mojo Monday 263

I found Mojo Monday sketch challenge blog when I was looking for other online card challenges. It’s been running for years now and I’m happy to play along too this week, Mojo Monday #263.

Mojo Monday is a weekly sketch challenge intended as a way to inspire  and get creative each week. This is my first time to participate. It was fun and I hope I’ll be part of the weekly round up.

You are truly amazing

You are truly amazing

Hi

Joining in again at CAS-ual Fridays CFC75. This week challenge is to create a Clean And Simple card or tag with an element that goes over the edge.

I’m entering the same card too in CAS(E) this sketch # 2.  This is the 2nd week challenge at CAS(E)’s  new blog challenge and there were a number of entries in last week’s initial challenge intro. Wow, amazing isn’t it?

I got my Martha Stewart scoring board today and decided to do a rosette detail as the main focus for my card. Scoring the lines for this flower is a breeze with the scoring board. I did an overhanging tab on top of my card to add a little color too on my overall card. Used a chipboard font for my HI sentiment (from Amy Tangerine). I also used a Kaisercraft chicken wire background stamp , not too visible in the photo but it’s there 🙂

Here’s my take on the challenge with some detailed photos.

Skipping Stones Design Sketch

I came across the blog Skipping Stones Design and decided to play along their Skipping Stones Sketch Challenge 150.

I finally used my first Paper Smooches stamp which includes border stamp set called Geo-graphics. I used the hexagons for my card’s background. The banner design papers came from my grab bag, punched some more papers and put a ribbon strip along to add more happy colors. I diecut the circle background for my button’s base.

The Birthday Wishes sentiment came from my limited stamp stash,  Hero Arts.

I love you

Put your {heart} into it, CAS-ual Fridays challenge for the week, CFC 74, create a clean and simple card with a heart.

I diecut 3 hearts, 2 in full heart shapes then the 3rd heart was diecut once more by smaller heart to create a window. The 3 hearts were placed on top of each other to create a 3D heart as the main focal point. What would be the best sentiment to use than I Love You.

I added a running lace at the bottom to give some texture. Clean and simple.

And on to the card.
