Thanks

Hello there! Wow! Feels like forever since I posted a card project. Life’s been so busy from the time I went to vacation in November and even after returning from the trip. Add to the fact that the holidays are busier and the first quarter of the year even crazier 🙂

It’s good to get back on my crafty life slowly but will sure get there eventually.

So for this card I used my favorite washi tapes for the background. I also die cut the sentiment “Thanks” from Lawn Fawn while the stamp came from My Favorite Things.

There are a lot of craft supplies that I still need to use and hopefully I’ll be showcasing them individually soon.

I’m using a card sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch #196.

Coloring with distress markers

Hello!

For this card, I used some cute house stamps from Paper Smooches. I colored them with distress markers and added some water to get this watercolor wash. I then added some frosted lace stickles to mimic some snowy scene for the holidays.

I placed the houses in a blue die cut tag with red ribbon strips behind. My sentiment is from Ali Edwards, always love the fonts on this stamp set.

I also added some sequins for more holiday sparkles.

I used a card sketch from The Paper Players: PP318.

Merry Christmas – die cut

Hiya!

I was able to do some holiday cards today and this one is just one of them.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things and did some die cutting with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #259.

fms-final-259-001

The stamps I used are actually a non-holiday stamp set but I did some holiday colors to make it a Christmas card 🙂 The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is a die from My Favorite Things that I got free from my previous haul. I die cut them three times to make a thicker dimension.

Coloring is just simple using my promarkers and copics. For my strip behind the circle is a ribbon and a gold paper that I got from a scrap packaging box. Love to recycle things like this luscious papers from packages 🙂

I added some flat gold sequins and glittery stickles I’m done!

Joy to the world

Happy Friday!

I made another holiday card using some new stamps from Avery Elle.

I love these cute woodland creatures and how cute they look singing for Christmas 🙂 I colored the images with promarkers and fussy cut them since I don’t have their coordinating dies yet.

For my papers, I have some stash from Pink Paisley and used them up this time. It looks more vintage but its nice to incorporate them to new modern stamps once in a while.  I also added some sequins to mimic the snow fall.

I  used a card sketch from Sketch Saturday: Week # 433.

One cool cat

Hello!

I’m checking in quickly to share my take in Addicted to Stamps and more, Challenge #214 – Anything Goes Challenge.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things 🙂 I stamped the cool cat in a patterned paper and fussy cut them since I don’t have the coordinating dies yet. I then added some googly eyes  on my cat for some fun.

I also used some washi tapes on the sides and also added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for more texture.

My card sketch inspiration is from CAS(E) this Sketch #193.

fms-final-256-001

I used stamps from My Favorite Things and the sentiment from Technique Tuesday.

I colored the kitties with promarker and fussy cut each of the colored images. I did a holiday hat from another stamp set Santa from My Favorite Things and adjust the size according to the kitties head. Some cutting and drawing to fit t the hats and I’m done 🙂

Washi and coloring

Hello!

I’m playing with Paper Smooches stamps called Needle Little Love.

I love sewing and this stamp set just called my name when I saw it 🙂 I colored the sewing machine and the heart with promarkers. To add more fun, I added a small piece of folded fabric and placed it closed to the needle part, like someone’s sewing 🙂

I also added some washi tape on both sides of the stamped frame.

I used a sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 82.

Coloring with markers

Happy Saturday!

I have a quick share of a card using Love Cynthia stamp.

I stamped the main  image from two different sets and colored them with one of my favorite coloring mediums, the alcohol based markers, promarker and copic marker. I only have limited colors on these markers but I’m glad I’m able to use what I have and make the most of it. These markers are quite expensive especially the copics but I get by with my crafty coloring using only what I have. One doesn’t necessarily need to buy all the available colors in the spectrum to get you to coloring 🙂

One thing I love about alcohol markers is that it blends nicely when you combine 2 to 3 colors and they also give vibrant colors.

I die cut the frame using My Favorite Things scallop die and additionally stamped some swirly vines on the sides.

I’m using a card sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge # 192.

Thankful

Hello

It seems like the weather is changing already from summer to a more friendlier temperature. I can tell as its also around this time that I get a cold 😦 Not really a cool thing but that will not keep me do another card today.

I used a card sketch from Pals Paper Arts, Sketch # 318.

My main image, farmer is from Paper Smooches. I colored him with promarker following some autumn colors. I used another stamp set to stamp the autumn leaves in the bigger panel and Thankful sentiment just to complement the season.

I also stamped the card base background with woodgrain background stamp from Hero Arts.

Sketch Challenge

Hiya!

Just popping in quickly to share my take in this week’s Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things, Sketch Challenge # 298.

I used the stamps from You Gnome Me and die cut the images too with their coordinating dies. For coloring, I used my promarker and a bit of copics. I also used the square scallop dies also from My Favorite Things.

I’m into MFT stamps lately and I’m building my collection slowly when I get the chance to get new supplies online.

There’s a stamp sale currently at Ellen Hutson and bought new stamps from where else, MFT stamps 🙂

So here’s my take
