Digi Monday: Friend

It’s Digi Monday and I’m sharing another card using Chi Chi Memories Digital Stamp Set – Costume Set 2.

I used a background stamp from Hero Arts and random papers to coordinate with my colored image. I used promarkers to color my digi stamp while the Friend sentiment is from Paper Smooches stamp.

For some texture, I added some pearls that I colored with yellow orange promarkers 🙂

Just love the bright, fun colors of this card, just fit for a Friend that brightens our day.

Sketch N Scrap Holiday Blog Hop – Day 1

Today starts the Holiday Blog Hop at Sketch N Scrap and I’m dedicating this project post both for the hop and the digi Monday.

From today until 8th of November, great holiday projects will be featured everyday for inspiration SNS blog. I will be featuring my take on Saturday, 26th of October but before that day comes, go and check out what’s in stored at SNS blog for a holiday inspiration and a chance to win along the hop.

On my turn, I will be giving away some craft supplies that you can also use in your projects.

For now, let me share another project that you can do using a digi image stamp.

I colored Candace digi image, Costume Set 2 from Chi Chi Memories with promarkers. Then fuzzy cut her before adhering to the tag.  I just love how digi stamps can be resized to fit for a card, a tag or just another craft medium.

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon.

Digi Monday: Hello there

Happy Monday!

It’s currently on Eid break until Thursday here in Doha. Yesterday begins the off days at work but I have to go some site visits still plus some errands so the day leaves me no crafting time anymore. I hope I can accomplish more than I usually do on holidays like this. I should do some more sewing.

Anyhow, I’m sharing a quick card using Chi Chi Memories Costume Set 2. The set includes Candace and Jordy dressed up in Costumes.

I used some washi tape for the flag and random papers to complement my digi image.

Digi Monday: Robotic Candace & Jordy

It’s a Digi Monday feature and I’m continuing with Chi Chi Memories new digi stamp set for October, Costume Set 2. Candace and Jordy are dressed up in robotic costumes.

I colored the images with promarkers and I did a small window where Candace peeks. I wanted Jordy to show that he’s thinking about her so I added some buttons leading to Candace to illustrate that he’s thinking  about her.

So what do you think? Just love them both 🙂

Chi Chi Memories – Costume Set 2

It’s the fist of the month and its the time for new month release from Chi Chi Memories.

For October, its Candace and Jordy dressed up in Costumes. The digi stamp set is called Costume Set 2. Very pretty isn’t it?

I used the lion and tiger costumes of Jordy & Candace for a packaging tag. I have some white packages that can hold some treats, chocolates, candies or just anything for a treat or party that I used here.  I put a Kit Kat bar in mine 🙂 I added some washi tapes in the bottom for some colors.

Coloring is still using my fave at the moment, promarkers.  I fuzzy cut each of them and placed them in a die cut tag with stamped background. The rest is a combination of patterned papers and attached to the package with jute twine.

Digi Tuesday: Birthday cake

I was caught up on other things yesterday and was not able to post my Digi Monday project on a Monday 😦

Anyhow, this birthday cake is still part of Chi Chi Memories – Party Time digital stamping set release for September. I colored the image with promarkers and added some pink pearls as cake accents. I also used happy colored patterned papers to match my cake 🙂 Random gray pearls are also used here as additional accent.

A new digi stamp release is up at Chi Chi Memories every first of the month so I’ll be sharing a series of cute and fun images in the blog.

Digi Monday: Jordy and Candace

Happy Monday!

This week I’m using both Jordy and Candace from Chi Chi Memories, Party Time digi stamp set.

This is almost a one layer card as I directly colored the images directly in the card base and just added some pattern papers to complement Jordy and Candace colors. I colored both of them with Promarkers.  A clean and simple (CAS) card, just my style 🙂

Digi Monday: Jordy

It’s another Digi Monday and this week I’m using Jordy as my main character for a birthday card. Jordy is part of Chi Chi Memories Party Time digital stamp set. You can find more about him and his other friends in Chi Chi Memories blog.

The set is September’s newest digi kit release.  You can find the two other projects I did using this month’s release set, party group invitation and Candace.

I used a kraft cardstock, and did partial embossing in the right section of the card to add texture.

I colored Jordy with promarkers and used minimal embellishment, ribbon, punched circles and zigzag cut strip.

This card will be entered to Sisterhood of Crafters, Devine Digi’s. The challenge: To use a digital stamp to a project.

Also entering in Through The Craft Room Door, Anything Goes challenge.

Digi Monday: Cupcake? Tea?

It’s my second ‘Digi Monday‘ project and I’m so glad to share my take in this week’s continuation of Chi Chi Memories digi that I also used last week, the Party Stamp – Digital Stamp Set.

I colored Candace with promarkers and fuzzy cut. I popped her in a die cut tag with some background stamping.

I have colorful roll of ribbons in my stash, most of which have been used in a project or two. I added these ribbons in diagonal strips for a fun background color as well. The Cupcake & Tea were printed and popped also with a die cut flower shaped for some added texture.

Digi Monday + GDT

Recently, I’m looking on ways to improve my blog. I’m considering a scheduled project post from digi stamps, to stamps, to sewing. It will be a weekly highlight on project/s that I did for the week. Or it can be a digi project I’m currently working on that I will soon share in a Monday.

I will be calling the digi projects as Digi Monday as I’ll be focusing in digital projects as such. I did a badge for this  digi weekly round-up.

On another note, I’m so happy to share that I will be a guest designer at Chi Chi Memories from September to October. I specially love their cute and adorable digital images that you can use in cards, invitations, tags, scrapbook page and other craft projects.

There will be a monthly digi release (every 1st of the month) and I’m starting off my take by using this month’s new release called Stamp Set – Party Time.

I used the cute ‘party organizers’ as my main characters in a tea party invitation. I did the layout using Illustrator but it can also be done using Word doc. I colored the images using promarkers.

For the envelope, I resize the same images and printed them in the envelope.  As the envelope is thinner than cardstock, I colored the images with colored pencils. The colorful borders were from Sarah Hurley’s All Sewn Up! digi scrapbook kit.

Looking on party invites just makes me smile 🙂
