Stamped packaging

Hello every one!

Have you sometimes wondered how to get plain packaging pouch to look more encouraging than a plain white paper to put things in?

I’m sharing a packaging project at a2z Scrapbooking blog today addressing this thought. Here’s a sneak peek of what I did so visit the a2z Scrapbooking blog to see how I packaged a card and some sweets. It’s a great way to mass produce too to use in party favors. Go can go here for more details.

Fun tags

I’m joining in a new challenge blog, Tag You’re it!  I have seen their previous challenge post but haven’t had the chance to play along at that time. Glad to be joining this time.

I now have the chance to use Sarah Hurley’s Mini Stamp set – Doodles which is exclusive in My Favorite Things March kit.

For my take, I used Virginia‘s color inspiration and also consider the way she made the three tags, two whites and a colored tag.

I used stamping, die cutting, embossing and some fussy cutting on the leaves. All stamps are from Sarah Hurley as well as the colored papers I used for die cutting. I forgot to include the Block Alpha stamp set from Sarah but I used them for the embossed Thanks tag. For the other Thanks die cut, I used the paper from this kit.

I was so excited to put these tags in the gift boxes and totally forgot to take individual photos of the tag before I tie them in the boxes. I just took a closer shot of the tag instead.

Here are the supplies I used

Felt crown for the little boys

I did this handmade felt crown for the little boys. It’s been pending for a while but so glad I finally made it. I have a girl version of this that I also did here for KC.

I used die cut stars and circles of felt as embellishments plus the glitzy buttons to add a feel of royalty 🙂 I also added my favorite ribbons and colored pompom ribbon.

Sketch N Scrap Holiday Blog Hop – Day 1

Today starts the Holiday Blog Hop at Sketch N Scrap and I’m dedicating this project post both for the hop and the digi Monday.

From today until 8th of November, great holiday projects will be featured everyday for inspiration SNS blog. I will be featuring my take on Saturday, 26th of October but before that day comes, go and check out what’s in stored at SNS blog for a holiday inspiration and a chance to win along the hop.

On my turn, I will be giving away some craft supplies that you can also use in your projects.

For now, let me share another project that you can do using a digi image stamp.

I colored Candace digi image, Costume Set 2 from Chi Chi Memories with promarkers. Then fuzzy cut her before adhering to the tag.  I just love how digi stamps can be resized to fit for a card, a tag or just another craft medium.

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon.

My Best Friend

All Dressed Up Challenge blog (ADU) has started its first challenge today with the theme, Anything Goes.

ADU had a design team call a month ago and I being a digi stamp lover of cute, whimsical images tried out but didn’t make it to the cut.

I’m so happy though that I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the month of  October 🙂 How great is that?

So now I’m sharing my take using ADU My Best Friend digi image. I did two projects, one as a card and another as a gift tag.  I think the gift tag will be great for party favors and just any gift isn’t it?

I embossed the pink card base for some added texture and played around some patterned papers for additional colors. The images were colored with promarkers, my go to coloring medium at the moment.

I can’t decide which of the two should I submit for the challenge so I sent them both so ADU team can choose. So happy they accepted both to be featured.

So here it is.

Digi Monday + GDT

Recently, I’m looking on ways to improve my blog. I’m considering a scheduled project post from digi stamps, to stamps, to sewing. It will be a weekly highlight on project/s that I did for the week. Or it can be a digi project I’m currently working on that I will soon share in a Monday.

I will be calling the digi projects as Digi Monday as I’ll be focusing in digital projects as such. I did a badge for this  digi weekly round-up.

On another note, I’m so happy to share that I will be a guest designer at Chi Chi Memories from September to October. I specially love their cute and adorable digital images that you can use in cards, invitations, tags, scrapbook page and other craft projects.

There will be a monthly digi release (every 1st of the month) and I’m starting off my take by using this month’s new release called Stamp Set – Party Time.

I used the cute ‘party organizers’ as my main characters in a tea party invitation. I did the layout using Illustrator but it can also be done using Word doc. I colored the images using promarkers.

For the envelope, I resize the same images and printed them in the envelope.  As the envelope is thinner than cardstock, I colored the images with colored pencils. The colorful borders were from Sarah Hurley’s All Sewn Up! digi scrapbook kit.

Looking on party invites just makes me smile 🙂

Printing digistamp on fabric

It’s been quiet around here for sometime eh. I have been so occupied with work and need to do a lot of things before I go on a short leave for the  holidays. I will be spending christmas and new year with my family back home and will not be around blogging during those times.

I will not be around for the next two weeks but would like to share a project that I did make for The Stamping Shack blog. I have been wandering around to do printing on fabric and did finally try one on this project. Here I used Pirate Boy digistamp from the Stamping Shack store. You can use whatever digistamp image you would wish and customize the same as you would want them too.

You can visit The Stamping Shack blog to see the process I did on this one.

This is it for now and I wish you all A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Gift Tags

This week’s challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is to make Gift Tags, CFC 80. I love gift tags and I think for this week’s challenge, I’ll have more tag projects to post on this blog entry 🙂

Caution, a lot of photos on this post.

I used tag dies from Papertrey Ink to diecut my base tags. For additional background texture I stamped them with musical notes stamp and some were even embossed. I kept them simple but tried to make a variation of each just to see how well it looks overall. To add dimensions, I made some of the stars overlap on top of each other.

So without further ado, here are my take for the gift tags challenge.

Invitation cards

I’m sharing here today an invitation card that I did using Hey Dude! digistamp from The Stamping Shack. Doing this invite is so easy and anyone can do this in no time at all. I’m posting the process at The Stamping Shack blog so you can check them out too.
