Stamping with florals and a word die cut

In celebration of World Card Making Day, I made a clean and simple card for today!

I haven’t done any card since forever and its nice to keep my mojo back today for a very quick card. I miss this!

So here’s my take to today’s project.

I’m entering this card too at Less is More challenge. A card case from Rebecca πŸ™‚

Stamped flowers and leave

Stamped flowers and leaves and diecut word

I die cut the Hello sentiment from Mama Elephant, one of the very few word die cut I own and stamped around the sentiment from the top right. The stamps are from WPlus9.

I also added some sequins for some texture and color.

Happy Card Making day to all card crafters!

New “Love Cynthia” stamps

Hello!

Today I received my first set of stamps from Love Cynthia. I have been waiting for about forever to get hold of these stamps as all of the ones I really like are always out of stock. I finally got the chance when they went back on stock last month and took the opportunity to buy some goodies.

So what better way to make of today than to use one of the set into a card πŸ™‚

My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch N Scrap, Sketch # 81.

I first stamped the two doilies in the background in two different colors, then colored my images using promarkers and copics. I also diecut the frame from Mama Elephant dies and added some sequins and ribbon for texture.

Two ink colors & sequins

Hello!

Today I have the chance to play with a stamp set Β from Hero Arts stamp set that I have for so long now. I was looking at my stamp box and remember that I still haven’t used these flourish stamp ever. Sometimes all you have to do is look into your supplies and use whatever you have before buying new ones right? πŸ™‚

I used a very minimal supplies on this card. Two ink colors, some sequins, a diecut Hello from Mama Elephant and rectangular stitched diecut and I’m done.

My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch Saturday, Sketch #429.

Coloring, Embossing, Die cutting

Hello!

I had some extra time and what better way to use that than to create Β a card right?

I dig some of my patterned papers and older stamp set from Mama Elephant to make this card. It’s nice to make use of older supplies just because they are and will always be great to play with.

I did some rectangular shapes die cut and embossed the mid-sentiment with white embossing powder. For my image I colored them all with promarker and die cut them also with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch Saturday # 427.

Simple Coloring with Inktense Pencils

Hello!

I recently purchased some new stamps online and finally had the chance to use this Trouble in a Tutu stamp set from Clearly Besotted πŸ™‚ They’re so cute right? The Β set has coordinating dies but I was not able to buy those yet but will definitely get them in my next haul.

I colored the images with Inktense pencils, using only pink and black. I used a very light stroke in coloring the areas that are supposed to be dark and let the highlights be in white. This card makes me smile really.

For my sentiment I white embossed them and added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for some more fun.

I used a card sketch inspiration from CAS(E) this Sketch #187.

I also used a die from Mama Elephant to emboss the borders of the card base to add details. Just enough to put some texture on a plain card base.

More watercolor play

Hiya!

So glad that I had some time playing along in card challenges. I haven’t bought crafting supplies like newly released stamps and dies so I used whatever I have on hand.

For my background, I did some watercoloring using distress ink pads. I then white embossed the skyline stamp from Altenew and stamp another sentiment at the bottom from Mama Elephant. The little girl is also from the same stamp set. I colored her with prormarkers too, one of my favorite coloring medium.

I added a printed stripe vellum on the side also with few sequins.

I want to depict a scene of missing someone so I used the skyline to show a place and someone thinking about it πŸ™‚ Cheesy right?

Anyhow,Β I used a card sketch from Sketch Saturday Β # 425.

Icy die cuts

Hello there!

It’s only August but I’m starting to do a bit of holiday cards in preparation for the Christmas season. That’s months ahead but you know how fast time goes and before you know it, Christmas is already there and its time to send the holiday cards to your loved ones overseas.

OK so for my card today, I used the leaves die cut from Simon Says Stamp. I was going through my paper stash and found this foil like carton, shining in icy blue, would you believe it’s from a perfume bottle-Davidoff Cool Water for Woman.

Sometimes there are materials that we might just ignore but with a little imagination, we can use them in a project like this card where I used them as some form or frosty/icy leaves.

I also added a die cut ribbon using Mama ElephantΒ dainty bow die and the oval die from Pretty Pink Posh. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I used a card sketch inspiration from CAS Colours & Sketch, Sketch Challenge # 186.

Always CAS

Hiya!

Popping in today to share my take in CAS(E) this Sketch # 184.Β I used to join in this challenge blog and happy to be able to join this week.

I always love clean and simple (CAS) cards and it makes me smile to do something clean yet cute in a way.

I have this “You”stamp set from Simon Says StampΒ for sometime, finally use them in today’s card. I love the clean lines of the fonts and the combination of stamped heart and die cut hearts. The image is from Mama Elephant πŸ™‚ Β colored him with promarkers

Hello!

I’m joining in this week’s card sketch at Match the Sketch # 136. Just perfect to use some of my patterned papers.

I used the panda stamp from Mama Elephant while the sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I added some sequins too to add some texture and pop of gold and magenta colors. A quick and easy birthday card πŸ™‚

Happy Monday!

I had the chance to craft again after sometime and happy to share another card that I find too cute not to show.

I stamped the Panda and lamps from Mama Elephant’s Pandemonium stamp set, then diecut them using the coordinating dies. The string of hearts on another hand is from Sarah Hurley.

This card is so simple but I like it the way it is πŸ™‚
