So I’m still into the Christmas vibe making some more holiday cards for friends. There’s a gathering on Thursday and I thought it would be nice to give something too while we’re celebrating an advance Christmas dinner.
For this card, I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 87.
I used some patterned papers and embossed the sentiment with white. The background texture is also made using an embossing folder. The cutesy images are from My Favorite Things & Pretty Pink Posh.

For this card I used fabric tape to create the red stripes. I have a big bottle full of washi and different tapes and I thought I need to make use of them frequently because they deserved more love 🙂 The blue strip is a washi that I crossed over the red tape.
I used stamped images from My Favorite Things and colored them with watercolor. The Christmas tree was colored with promarkers.
The holiday season is soon to come and I need to do my holiday cards this early.
My sentiment is die cut from My Favorite Things as well.
I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch # 84.

And Always Playing with Paper Challenge #83, Christmas Inspiration. I used the Christmas theme, gift and red stripes in my card 🙂

I’m playing with Paper Smooches stamps called Needle Little Love.
I love sewing and this stamp set just called my name when I saw it 🙂 I colored the sewing machine and the heart with promarkers. To add more fun, I added a small piece of folded fabric and placed it closed to the needle part, like someone’s sewing 🙂
I also added some washi tape on both sides of the stamped frame.
I used a sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 82.

Today I received my first set of stamps from Love Cynthia. I have been waiting for about forever to get hold of these stamps as all of the ones I really like are always out of stock. I finally got the chance when they went back on stock last month and took the opportunity to buy some goodies.
So what better way to make of today than to use one of the set into a card 🙂
My card sketch inspiration is from Sketch N Scrap, Sketch # 81.
I first stamped the two doilies in the background in two different colors, then colored my images using promarkers and copics. I also diecut the frame from Mama Elephant dies and added some sequins and ribbon for texture.

I have been playing with simple watercoloring for this stamped imaged from Some Odd Girl.
I have a very small collection of distress ink pads and I used them to do the watercoloring. I’m excited though to get more of those inks soon in the mail 🙂 There was a recent sale online and got the chance to grab additional ink pads for coloring.
For this card, I used the card sketch from Sketch N Scrap Sketch # 79.
For my background, I embossed the lighter cardstock with circle design, it also mimics the pattern in the washi tape I used in the strip which was coincidental. Love that when it happens.
I also stamped a tiny part of the kraft card base with doily design, very small part shows in the left but the design almost looks like the same as the flower pattern in the washi tape.

Also in Through the Purple Haze, Challenge# 106 Anything Goes.
Trying to get back to my crafty groove by starting on this card sketch from Sketch N Scrap # 75.
On this card, I used my stamps from Ali Edwards and Paper Smooches. The patterned papers are previous ones I got from my stash.
Hopefully this will be start of finding my missing mojo 🙂

Popping in quickly to share my take in Sketch N Scrap, Card sketch # 67.
I used random papers and patterns from my stash and die cut them with different sized circles from Simon Says Stamp. I also added some die cut hearts for some accents.
My sentiment is from Kelly Purkey stamp set while the couple is from Lil Inker Designs.

Its been forever since I last posted a card project and it feels good to create once again. I’ve been busy with so many things and need to keep crafting at the back seat.
So for today’s card, I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, sketch # 58.
The very cute stamps I used today are from Mommy Lhey Designs. I recently discovered her in Instagram and fell in-love right away with her stamp designs. I used the Under the Sea stamp set and colored the images with promarkers.
