Summer’s Here

Happy Friday!

The Crafting Café’s card challenge theme for July is called Summer’s Here 🙂

Summer is the time when bright flowers bloom so I used the Blossom digi image from LEJ Designs. I colored them with Promarkers and added a crochet ribbon strip to complement the flower colors. The challenge ends until end of July  so do check The Crafting Café for inspiration or play along.

I’m entering this card in Through The Craftroom Door Challenge Blog, Anything Goes challenge.

Also, in Divas by Design, Anything Goes challenge.

Geotagged

I’m playing along this week in CAS(E) this Sketch, Challenge # 37.  I got this Expedition stamps set from Sarah Hurley recently and decided  to use as the stamps in the set as  the main icon in each of the sketched shape.

Each icon is stamped while the plane is embossed in white embossing powder. The papers I used are all from  Sarah Hurley as well. I really love this stamp set 🙂 I love to travel whenever I have a chance so this set is just a personal favorite.

The background woodgrain stamp however is from Hero Arts.

Now this is what I came up with.

SNS Sketch # 6

Sketch-N-Scrap Sketch card challenge # 6 is now up at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog.

I used a bicycle stamp and coordinating die from Hero Arts, and sentiment from Paper Smooches. The quote came from a digital stamp that I also used here.

I love the papers from Lawn Fawn that I got here.

More inspirational cards from Sketch-N-Scrap blog so do check them out too.

Want some donut?

Don’t you want some donut?

Just popping in quickly to share my take in this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge # 36.

I used a donut stamp from Hero Arts and colored it with Promarkers. Sequins are just in trend now so I used sequins too as sprinkle on top. The sentiment, Happy Birthday is from Paper Smooches which I embossed in vellum. For added texture, I partially embossed the right side of the card.

Cheese!

Got a parcel today from Sarah Hurley, paper, stamps, embellishments 🙂 yey!

What to do next then is to play with the supplies. I used the stamps from Picture this! stamp set. Don’t you love the instagram camera? I colored it with Inktense pencils. This pencils can work as a regular colored pencil and watercolor at the same time. What I love about it is that it gives vibrant colors when used with water.

The chevron paper is also from Sarah’s A Few of My Favorite things February Kit, East Village.

For the background, I splatter tumbled glass distress ink with water. For the heart in the camera, I add some glossy accents for added shine 🙂

I’m entering this card in this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch # 35.

You make me smile

It’s the 5th of the month, that means it’s the start of another card challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap blog.  Here’s my take for Card sketch # 5.

I used mostly small pieces of designer papers from my stash and some embellishments from Pink Paisley. The stamp ‘You make me smile’ is from Ali Edwards.

I recently got a flowery background stamp from Hero Arts and I used them here for the background, it not really visible in my photo but it’s there 🙂

You can visit Sketch-N-Scrap blog and see what the my fellow DT has done for this sketch challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pink Sparkles

Hiya! Popping in quickly to share a new card challenge at Sarah Hurley challenge blog. This month’s theme – Pink Sparkles. Use any from pink glitter, embossing powder and anything that sparkles in pink.

I did a hybrid card using Sarah’s Say Cheese digi scrapbooking kit. To keep the theme, I used pink glitters in the strip and sequins in the camera’s lens. I have a special interest in photography and this digi set is just perfect.

The challenge runs for a month so drop by at Sarah’s challenge blog for more inspirations.

I’m entering this card in Hobbycutz challenge # 9, Anything with ‘H‘.  My sentiment “Hello” is just fit isn’t it?
