Stamping with florals and a word die cut

In celebration of World Card Making Day, I made a clean and simple card for today!

I haven’t done any card since forever and its nice to keep my mojo back today for a very quick card. I miss this!

So here’s my take to today’s project.

I’m entering this card too at Less is More challenge. A card case from Rebecca 🙂

Stamped flowers and leave

Stamped flowers and leaves and diecut word

I die cut the Hello sentiment from Mama Elephant, one of the very few word die cut I own and stamped around the sentiment from the top right. The stamps are from WPlus9.

I also added some sequins for some texture and color.

Happy Card Making day to all card crafters!

Simple coloring with Zig markers

Hiya!

A clean and simple card today using Love Cynthia stamp called  Follow your heart 🙂  I always love Cynthia’s happy stamps.

I added some diecut clouds that I got recently as a freebie in my last MFT crafts haul 🙂 Oh and I got that large banner die too from my latest MFT purchase.

Some Odd Girl April Release Review

Hello there!

I’m sharing today a card using the new release digi stamp this month from Some Odd Girl.  The release this month are retired stamps yet be enjoyed now as a digital stamp 🙂 Love that.

I colored Big Wishes Mae digital stamp with my favorite coloring medium promarkers. For the card base I embossed that with medium-sized dots and also added some patterned papers for some fun. I also added some gems for added texture.

You can visit the Some Odd Girl blog for more card inspirations.

Some Odd Girl March Challenge – twist pop it up

Hi there!

So happy to share this sweet image ‘Guitar Kody’ from Some Odd Girl. This is my take in this month’s (March) Challenge in Some Odd Girl, with the twist pop it up.  You may come and drop by the Some Odd Girl blog to join in and see the rest of the amazing creations of the team.

After coloring Kody with promarker, I fussy cut the image and pop that up with dimensional adhesives. You can  see the elevated image in my close up photo of Kody. I also popped the bubble speech with dimensionals.

Swoon Dakota Digi Stamp

Hello!

Today I’m sharing one of the newly released digi stamps from Some Odd Girl, Swoon Dakota. I love how she flipped one of her leg, adding a cute gesture on her character.

I recently bought some new Promarker, Skin tone last weekend and used it here to color Dakota. I think I need to do some more practice runs in blending with my new alcohol markers but generally pleased on how Dakota brought life to this clean and simple card.

I used some die cuts to add some texture on the cardstock border and also banner die cuts on top of my card. Some sequins will be fun too isn’t it? 🙂

Coloring with distress markers

Hello!

For this card, I used some cute house stamps from Paper Smooches. I colored them with distress markers and added some water to get this watercolor wash. I then added some frosted lace stickles to mimic some snowy scene for the holidays.

I placed the houses in a blue die cut tag with red ribbon strips behind. My sentiment is from Ali Edwards, always love the fonts on this stamp set.

I also added some sequins for more holiday sparkles.

I used a card sketch from The Paper Players: PP318.

Stripes and watercolor

Happy Saturday!

For this card I used fabric tape to create the red stripes. I have a big bottle full of washi and different tapes and I thought I need to make use of them frequently because they deserved more love 🙂 The blue strip is a washi that I crossed over the red tape.

I used stamped images from My Favorite Things and colored them with watercolor. The Christmas tree was colored with promarkers.

The holiday season is soon to come and I need to do my holiday cards this early.

My sentiment is die cut from My Favorite Things as well.

I used a card sketch from Sketch N Scrap, Card Sketch # 84.

Merry Christmas – die cut

Hiya!

I was able to do some holiday cards today and this one is just one of them.

I used my new stamps from My Favorite Things and did some die cutting with their coordinating dies.

My card sketch inspiration is from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #259.

fms-final-259-001

The stamps I used are actually a non-holiday stamp set but I did some holiday colors to make it a Christmas card 🙂 The sentiment “Merry Christmas” is a die from My Favorite Things that I got free from my previous haul. I die cut them three times to make a thicker dimension.

Coloring is just simple using my promarkers and copics. For my strip behind the circle is a ribbon and a gold paper that I got from a scrap packaging box. Love to recycle things like this luscious papers from packages 🙂

I added some flat gold sequins and glittery stickles I’m done!

Thankful

Hello

It seems like the weather is changing already from summer to a more friendlier temperature. I can tell as its also around this time that I get a cold 😦 Not really a cool thing but that will not keep me do another card today.

I used a card sketch from Pals Paper Arts, Sketch # 318.

My main image, farmer is from Paper Smooches. I colored him with promarker following some autumn colors. I used another stamp set to stamp the autumn leaves in the bigger panel and Thankful sentiment just to complement the season.

I also stamped the card base background with woodgrain background stamp from Hero Arts.

CAS coloring and die cuts

Hello!

A clean and simple card using my new stamps from WPlus 9, Get Well Gang.

So many cute images in the set but for today I used the dog image. I colored him with copic and promarker then diecut him along with the mouse and a medicine bottle.

I also run an embossed wonky stitches though it doesn’t show much in the paper. I need to add another paper next time to emphasize the embossing.

For some color, I also added some colored dots and distress inks in the background.

I used a sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches, Challenge #190 Sketch. I flip the sketch with the curved on top rather than to the left.

I’m also entering this card to CASology,  cue card-Bark.
